Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus 9th Anniversary of 9/11 Memorial Event

The Student Government Association of Miami Dade College Wolfson Campus is having an event on Wednesday September 8th from 12:00-1:00PM to honor the 9th Anniversary of 9/11/2001 in Room 2106.  The event will honor the memories of the lives lost on September 11th 2001 as well as pay tribute to the brave men and women that fight for our freedom around the world.  The event will be a time of reflection on the events as well as an opportunity to look forward to a peaceful future. The students of the Wolfson Campus Student Government Association have chosen to construct a small "Wall of Peace" installation in honor of 9/11 to demonstrate that each one of us has the responsibility and the power to build the peace in our community and in our world in remembrance of the victims of the attacks as well as the brave firefighters and police personnel that sacrificed their lives for others.
